Sydney's own pub rock band Choirboys formed in the northern beaches in 1979. Between 1983 and 2007, Choirboys released eight studio albums - most notably their 1988 double platinum selling album 'Big Bad Noise' that peaked at Number 5 on the Australian Album Chart. Â Following the Top 15 single âBoys Will Be Boysâ, they released their smash hit âRun To Paradiseâ which was the second single off 'Big Bad Noise'. Â Along with cracking the Billboard Hot 100, âRun To Paradiseâ peaked at #3 on the Australian Singles Chart and continues to be a mainstay of Australian culture.
