Foreign Tongues
Foreign Tongues sees The Rolling Stones return with a vibrant, forward-looking collection that proves their creative fire is far from fading. Arriving less than three years after the Grammy Award-winning Hackney Diamonds, this 14-track album captures the band in full strideâenergised, focused and still pushing their sound into new territory.
Led by the infectious single âIn The Stars,â the album was brought to life in under a month at Metropolis Studios in West London, with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood reuniting with producer Andrew Watt. The result is a dynamic set that blends classic Stones swagger with fresh sonic textures and sharp, contemporary songwriting.
Alongside the core trio, the album features longtime collaborators including Darryl Jones, Matt Clifford and Steve Jordan, as well as a special appearance from Charlie Wattsârecorded during one of his final sessions. An impressive lineup of guest artists also contribute, with appearances from Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, Robert Smith and Chad Smith adding further depth and character.
Pressed on Indies-exclusive green vinyl across 2LP, Foreign Tongues is both a celebration of the Stonesâ enduring legacy and a bold step forwardâconfident, energetic and unmistakably their own.
